Bob de Bot is a platform specifically designed to enhance your social network and stay connected with your surroundings. I have worked on creating an application for an older target audience (65+) that offers activities in a simple overview. The interview uses material 3 design standards. As part of my first internship I created an animation video for investors in Bob de Bot to show them the importance of the app.

The animation video explains what Digitale Buddy does and is aimed at investors rather than participants. We made sure the language used was understandable for participants of Digitale Buddy. The animation contains a simplified version of the system, to show how the system works. The client wanted a video to explain the working of the digital buddy system to potential buyers and users. I developed a simple illustration style to get the story across and used the digital buddy branding style throughout the animation. Since I also designed the basics of the User Interface, I had a clear understanding as of how to tell the client the benefits of the product.
Bob de Bot's mobile app is an extension of the existing system, which consists solely of SMS messages. The SMS messages are sent based on the user's location and interests. Through these messages, users connect with nearby activities so they do not become isolated. The app does the same, but from here, someone can immediately sign up for an activity.
