Digital Buddy is a platform where schools can create their educational programs and where students can follow them. The unique selling proposition of Digital Buddy is that students can ask a buddy for help at any time by starting a video call. Digital Buddy was created for countries where education is not easily accessible to everyone. The challenge was to design interfaces for students and teachers who might not be digitally skilled and the application must be usable on various screen sizes.

The animation video explains what Digitale Buddy does and is aimed at investors rather than participants. We made sure the language used was understandable for participants of Digitale Buddy. The animation contains a simplified version of the system, to show how the system works. The client wanted a video to explain the working of the digital buddy system to potential buyers and users. I developed a simple illustration style to get the story across and used the digital buddy branding style throughout the animation. Since I also designed the basics of the User Interface, I had a clear understanding as of how to tell the client the benefits of the product.
Digital Buddy consists of an application for teachers, buddies, and students. Within this application, they can plan, monitor, and grade lessons. They can also chat internally and make video calls. At the client's request, the system was built using Material Design standards. The various flows are broken down into a number of dashboard tiles, which are accessible based on the user's role. The most important flows are those of the learning models. These are broken down into books, chapters, and sections. In this way, the education can be displayed clearly, and teachers always know the student's level.The design and the various flows were reviewed multiple times with stakeholders and users to arrive at the desired product.
